Good Morning Sun...

4/5 of the Flatbabes woke up at 3 am this morning to meet the sunrise at the top of Mt. Olympus. Besides the tiredness and the killer gnats (see following post) it was well worth it.

Damn the bugs and save the bananas.

During our hike I came face to face with a conundrum. As we neared the summit we were swarmed by a city of gnats. They were everywhere: in our eyes, dancing up our noses, singing in our ears and doing komikazi dives down our throats. Sure we were in their home, but you'd think they'd be better hosts. Later on as we continued to battle the small gnat army bent on our destruction Sarah informed me of a tragedy. Apparently bananas are getting viruses and are becoming extinct before our very eyes. It just makes you think, "How can there be so many of these lousy bugs when thousands of poor, delicious bananas are being killed everyday by so-called viruses who happen to be distant cousins of the very gnats which destroyed our early morning peace on the top of Mt. Oly."

The Chaffing/Chasing Athleta Cheetahs

Katherine Foulger, Kate Anderson, and Me rockin the back seat...
The Flat Babes going strong...

The Team -1, Megan Osterlouh was MIA at this point...
Look at all these little champs. It might seem crazy, but lets be honest who wouldn't want to run 13-19 miles in the blaring heat and in the middle of the night, up and down grueling hills, with little - no sleep? I loved it!

Me and Holly, Holly and Me

This picture was taken right after our romantic date at La Nonne, a fancy shmancy restaurant here in Logan. Since it was a special occasion and we are rolling in the dough we decided to put on our fanciest dresses and throw caution to the wind. What was the occasion? We don't know... But don't we look cute?

WANNER Rock? The Demolition Derbie in the "Truck Derbie Capitol of the World."

Heck yes, that truck is on fire. From Demolition Virgin to Derbie Enthusiast. Whoever first decided that it would be a good idea to spray paint on old cars and crash them incessantly into eachother was a genious. Long live that man. Assuming he's still alive....

Smoking Dubies in Green Canyon.

So I just moved up to Logan, Utah and, oh the beauty! Green canyon is my new favorite place. It's just So that's why we both look so high... we're high on beauty, high on green, and high on life.

The Little Red Riding Hood

The Little Red Riding Hood is no longer just a children's fairytale. After this weekend it will forever be associated with 102 miles of burning legs, sore butts, and good times with old friends. Go team SAACC!

Happy Birthday to me! And other good news.

"So I says to the guy..."

Isn't this picture great? It's my cousin's new baby. It looks like she's in the middle of telling a really great joke. She must take after me.
